potted animals

so i love flowers and recently discovered my attraction to animals potters. 

i have these little cuties in my blue swan planter outside my apartment. 

i want to plant some spring flowers in this: 

and can you imagine some wild flowers in this? 

this one though - kinda creepy... 

what is it about these animals that i want to plant flowers in their backside?
