christmas at bu

sophomore year with laura.

christmas on the 5th at baylor was last week. here is my homage to a great college event.

abide in the Father's love.

have you ever truly abided in his love? photo from {here}

"Abide in my, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me." John 15: 4 As the weekend turns into the week, I am struck by this concept: unless I'm abiding in him, I'll never bear fruit. I can not bear fruit on my own. It is only through adiding in his love through the word that makes me clean and obedience to his commandments. I want his love. I want his joy. I want his promises. He wants to give them to us. I need to dwell, wait, pause, stay, and continue in his love and love for one another. This is a good place to be.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give to you. John 15:16.
